Our story

Goods made by people the workforce overlooks.

Inkin is the consumer storefront of In For The Cause, a social enterprise working with grassroots NGOs across India to create dignified livelihood for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Every candle poured, cushion stitched, journal bound and box assembled passes through the hands of artisans whose craft is rarely seen and even more rarely celebrated. The collection is small on purpose — we'd rather do a few things beautifully than many things at scale.

One hundred percent of margins are reinvested in the NGOs and artisans you're supporting. Every time you place an order, you're funding a wage, a routine, a place at the table.

The people behind what you're holding

Every Inkin product is made by someone enrolled in a structured programme at one of our partner NGOs. These are the organisations whose beneficiaries are making what you buy.

Jaipur partner NGO

Rajasthan

Running structured programmes since 2011. 88 individuals — most with autism, learning disabilities, or ADHD — have come through these doors. 29 are active today.

Able Fable

Kolkata, West Bengal

26 adults, aged 17 to 36. All with documented intellectual or developmental disabilities. All with somewhere to be, something to make, and now — somewhere to sell it.

Tabitha Enabling Society

Nagaland

A government-registered special school serving 69 people across 11 disability categories. In a geography that most commercial platforms have never reached.

Haldwani partner network

Nainital District, Uttarakhand

1,715 people on the Government of India's National Trust List — formally recognised, largely without a market. Until now.
